One of the things that people look forward to the most about taking a trip is being able to unwind. Fortunately, there is no better place to kick-back and relax than in St. Charles, IL. We're here to make sure you have a refreshing getaway, so we've put together some ideas on how you can experience just that! Keep reading below to get started.

Day 1

Unwind

Let's face it: traveling can be exhausting. That's why, the first thing you're going to do once you get into town is to get a massage or a facial. Visit one of the spas in town, like Sage Healing Collective or Larimar Med, to help you unwind. This is the perfect way to set the tone for the rest of this relaxing trip.


Get Pampered

Nothing feels better than getting a brand new haircut, a fresh set of nails, and a new look - especially when you're in a new area! Fortunately, there are plenty of places in town that will make you feel like a star, such as HM Hair Bar, Ginger Root Hair Salon, or One Salon & Bridal, to name just a few of many.


In search of a top-notch barber? With an array of spots ideal for getting that fresh men's cut, such as Lefty's The Main Street Barber, Canno's Barbershop, and Avenue Two Hairstyle, you'll feel confident wherever you go that you'll leave feeling like a million bucks!



Unwind with a Pizza

Before you head back to your hotel to call it a night, make a quick trip over to Gia Mia for a glass of wine and a delicious wood-fired pizza. You can explore plenty of unique pizza styles, plus indulge in a variety of small bites - like their popular Zucchini Fries!


Day 2

Yoga in the Morning

Start Day 2 off on the right foot and partake in some yoga at Flower of Life Yoga & Wellness Center. Flower of Life Yoga & Wellness Center is a premier yoga studio that is situated inside a cottage that dates back approximately 100 years! ​Afternoon Pickleball

We already have some relaxation under our belt for Day 2, so let's switch gears and get the body moving! Head to one of the Pickleball Courts in town, like the ones at Pottawatomie Park, to play a round! This is a fun way to get some exercise in, and if you need equipment, you can stop by Play It Again Sports who can help you with all your athletic gear needs, at a great price.


Dinner and Live Music

After you had a great workout playing some pickleball, it's time to head to downtown to catch dinner and some live music at Rox City Grill at Hotel Baker! Hosting live music on Friday's and Saturday, not only have a tasty meal, but to also experience some first-class local talent that will sure to keep you entertained while you dine.


Day 3

Grab a Quick Breakfast

Before you embark on the first activity of the day, you're going to want to get something in your stomach so that you can start feeling energized. For today, go with the classic favorite breakfast pastry - donuts, and head to the popular Bosa Donuts to grab some! Make sure you grab an apple fritter, too - you'll regret if you don't!


Spend Your Morning on the Water

There aren't many better ways to start your day then by admiring all the beautiful nature around. That's why to start the last day of your trip, you're going to get on the water to kayak or to take a pedal boat ride! You can rent them from Riverview Miniature Golf Course in Pottawatomie Park, and then get on The Fox River to enjoy the scenery.


Refuel

After burning some calories from being out on the water all morning, treat yourself to a delicious meal by enjoying some refined dining at either E&S Seafood or St. Charles Place Steakhouse depending on what you're craving! Each place serves an exceptional fare, making sure that you have enough energy to end the trip strong!


Admire the Murals
