Plus, you'd be surprised just how often your fellow volunteer can turn into a life-long friend! On top of that, you never know whose going to show up to one of our events, you may have the chance to meet the North Pole's most famous resident himself - if you're lucky!

Develop New Skills

It's never too late to learn a new skill, and doing so while helping out your community just makes it that much better! There is a wide variety of skills one can acquire from volunteering, including planning, organizing, and even problem solving, to just name a few. Even if it's not a new skill, being able to refine your abilities while striving for a great cause is certainly a win-win.

Ways to Get Involved with the St. Charles Business Alliance

Events

Here at the St. Charles Business Alliance, we host several events that wouldn't be possible without the help of amazing volunteers. These events include: Fine Art Show, Scarecrow Weekend, Holiday Homecoming, and the St. Patrick's Parade. There are various positions that we look to be filled depending on the type of event that it is. Some examples of positions are being a Pacer for a parade, providing information at an information booth, or even monitoring exciting activities! Spending time giving back during events is not only a blast, but it is extremely fulfilling to see so many people come together as one to reach a common goal.

Committees

Another way that you can get involved with the St. Charles Business Alliance is through one of our committees: Business Development & Sales, Marketing & Promotions, and Events. These committees are vital to the success of the organization, having a network of individuals to assist us in promoting this beautiful community we have here in St. Charles.

And More!

Even if you choose not to volunteer right at this moment, there are still many simple ways that you can still support the St. Charles Business Alliance! One way to do this is by following us on social media @stcalliance and @travelstcharles. Doing this, combined with sharing and engaging with our posts and content goes a long way in the growth as an organization.
