When the weather starts to cool off and the leaves begin to fall, that can only mean one thing: that St. Charles Scarecrow Weekend, presented by St. Charles Chrysler Dodge Jeep Ram, is almost here! Running from Friday, October 11th through Sunday, October 13th, this award-winning event has a long-standing history here in St. Charles, being a community event that everyone has circled on their calendar. This year, there are tons of fall activities, entertainment, and more for attendees to enjoy, including 5 elements we listed below that you do not want to miss out on. Rock Climbing Wall
This year, there is a brand new element at Scarecrow Weekend that is sure to take this event to new heights! Thanks to the Three Fires Council, there will be a 26 foot tall rock climbing wall in the Riverside Activity Zone! For those who don't mind being up high in the sky, this all-ages activity is sure to test your climbing abilities all while providing a great time. After you've reached the top, make sure to swing by the Windy Acres Farm Tent and treat yourself to a delicious apple cider donut - you deserve it!
McNally's Heating & Cooling's Family Fun Booth

After you've reached the top of the rock climbing wall, take a trip over to McNally's Heating & Cooling's Family Fun Booth, also located in the Riverside Activity Zone. All weekend they are going to have fun giveaways such as balloons and temporary tattoos, and exciting activities like mini psychic readings! On Sunday, you can even have the opportunity to meet your new best friend, as they will have a dog adoption event from 10am-2pm with Rover Rescue. Plus, if you adopt a dog, you'll get a FREE whole house duct cleaning!
Live Music by Hillbilly Rockstarz

Are you ready for some amazing live music? On Sunday, October 13th from 2:30pm-4:30pm in the Lincoln Park Family Zone, you can hear Chicagoland's number one country band, Hillbilly Rockstarz, play all your favorite hits! Performing together for over 15 years, and having played thousands of shows, they'll ensure that you'll want to get on your feet and dance throughout their entire set!

Think you have what it takes to bowl a strike? Well, what if we told you you'd have to use a pumpkin instead of bowling ball? That's exactly what you'll have to do this year at St. Charles Bank & Trust's Family Fun Booth in the Lincoln Park Family Zone! Here, they have a lane dedicated to showing off your pumpkin bowling skills. On top of that, St. Charles Bank & Trust can help you look your fall best, as they will have a face painter at their booth, as well!
