Before you embark on a week-long summer date adventure with your partner, it's essential to make sure you fuel up! Start your day at Alexander's Cafe, just west of downtown, for a delicious breakfast that will kick-start your morning. Then, head to Pottawatomie Park for a Paddlewheel Riverboat cruise on the Fox River. On Sundays, you can find departures at 12:30pm, 1:45pm, and 3pm, offering a scenic view of the area's history and wildlife while you relax and enjoy the ride.
Monday

Monday's are always a tough day of the week, so after work, grab your significant other and head to the LeRoy Oakes Forest Preserve to unwind with a short hike. The natural beauty in St. Charles is astounding, and LeRoy Oakes is the perfect place to experience the prairies, woodlands, creeks and more. Once you've finished your venture, stop by Riverlands Brewing for a thirst-quenching brew out on their patio. On Monday's from 4pm-8pm, you can get 1/3 off all draft pours of all their beers and sizes!
Tuesday

On Tuesday, you and your partner other are going to head to the award-winning Graceful Ordinary for light bite during their Happy Hour! Every Tuesday-Friday from 4pm-6pm, and Saturday from 2pm-4pm, you can join them on their screened-in terrace for $2 Oysters on the half-shell, as well as a special menu of $10 martinis! After you've had your fill, stroll over to Lux Dance Studio or The Dance Lab to take part in a private dance lesson! There's no need to worry if you have two left feet, as both of these dance studios are for all ability levels! It's important to note that you will have to contact the business beforehand in order to schedule your private lesson!
Wednesday

Dinner and a show? A date night doesn't get more classic than that. Plus, when it comes to romantic dining, Italian food is king! Make a visit to Osteria Trulli downtown to enjoy their authentic Italian cuisine, incredible wood-fired pizza, and enjoy their outdoor patio if the weather calls for it. After you've paid the bill, walk over to Moonlight Theatre to catch their weekly Improv Show on Wednesdays from 7:30pm-9pm. You can be assured that this night will be full of laughter from some of Chicago's top improv performers.

You can view their calendar online beforehand so you can choose what you'll be learning to make, and with an instructor walking you step-by-step, you'll be amazed with a finished product! Before we introduce another hands-on activity for you and your partner, why not make a pit stop at Whiskey Bend for their Happy Hour from 4pm-6pm? You can take advantage of great deals and both food & drinks, and during the summer, they even have live music performances on Fridays, too! Afterwards, head to Board & Brush to create your very own decorative wood sign! They provide all the materials and guidance needed for this craft, and it's a wonderful memento to bring home from your exciting night out!

On the last day of the week, it's time to engage in a little friendly competition by playing a round at the Riverview Miniature Golf Course! On Saturday's, couples pay a special price of only $10 per round after 6pm! You'll have to navigate fun and difficult obstacles in order to hit your hole-in-one, and with breathtaking views of the Fox River, this course is second-to-none. Afterwards, make your way over to St. Charles Place for a more fine dining experience. Aside from their wonderful steaks, they also offer plenty of seafood options, salads, and other house favorites - an ideal treat to reward yourself after a hard fought game of miniature golf.
