A community staple since 1901, Colonial Cafe has solidified itself as a fantastic spot to alleviate your fried fish cravings. On Fridays starting at 11am, you can savor their crispy Icelandic Cod, served with French fries, apple coleslaw, and tartar sauce (and you can add their cafe-made corn bread for just $2.29 more). There aren't many places that have better fish than the Northern woods, and at Dukes Northwoods, it's no different. Dukes Northwoods brings a woodsy-Wisconsin themed vibe to downtown St. Charles. Of course, they offer their spectacular Fish n Chips made with beer battered Walleye, but they also have some other fresh fish offerings that you don't want to miss out on, too. If you need a break from the fried food, try their Salmon Salad, or their Lake Superior Whitefish - both made with white wine lemon butter sauce.
