Halloween is right around the corner, and we're here to give you the inside scoop on how you can celebrate this spooky holiday right, whether you're a full grown ghost, or just a little ghoul. For Kids


Haunt House at Hunt House Creative Arts Center (October 26th | 6:30pm-8:30pm)

Prepare to get haunted at Hunt House Creative Arts Center's 2nd Annual Haunt House! Show off your scary good vocals and participate in karaoke, and be sure to look the part, too, as they will have a costume contest. Additionally, there will be a photo booth, games, drinks, and much more! Both kids and adults are welcome!



Lil' Ghosts Halloween Party at Riverlands Brewing (October 26th | 4pm-7pm)

Before Riverlands Brewing's 21+ party begins later in the evening, feel free to bring the kids along for their Lil' Ghosts Halloween Party from 4pm-7pm! Their taproom will be all decked out, so be sure to wear the kids wear their best costumes! Plus, Waffadilla food truck will be at Riverlands serving up some delectable waffle fusion creations that children will love!



Halloween Party for Kids at Tap House Grill (October 27th | 5pm-7pm)

Tap House Grill is hosting a Halloween Party that will be exceptional for children on October 27th! For only $16 per child, you'll get to indulge in a kids buffet, pumpkin decorating, and more! Make sure to wear your very best costume, as there will be a costume parade at 6:30pm! Reservations are required for this event.


Cookie Decorating at The Evergreen Pub & Grill (October 29th | 6pm)

For kids, one of the best parts about Halloween is trying to gather as many goodies as you can while you trick or treat. However, what if we told you that you could decorate a tasty Halloween-themed cookie for a little pre-Halloween treat? The Evergreen Pub & Grill and Mad Batter Bakery have teamed up to provide cookie kits for only $10! While you're there, be sure to try their Autumn Menu to really get you into the spirit of the season.



Trick-or-Treating in St. Charles (October 31st | 3pm-7pm)

Finally, on to the main event: Trick-or-Treating! If you're looking to gather as many treats as possible this Halloween, the Trick-or-Treating time in St. Charles is from 3pm-7pm on October 31st. Day of the Dead Celebration at La Mesa Modern Mexican (October 24th | 6pm-10pm)

Every year, La Mesa Modern Mexican hosts a phenomenal Day of the Dead Celebration, and this year is no exception. On October 24th make a trip over to experience vibrant traditions with a delicious taco bar, decorations, face painting, music, and so much more. On top of that, you'll get to admire a fantastic dance performance from local St. Charles business, The Dance Lab! Halloween Party at Bogart's (October 25th | 9pm)

Bogart's annual Halloween party is back! On Friday, September 25th starting at 9pm, you can get your scare on at their Halloween Party that will be featuring specialty themed cocktails and shots! Looking to get some creepy, fun goodies? They'll also be giving out four gift cards to St. Charles' very own Monster and Horror Retail Store: Ghoulish Mortals!

Feeling lucky this Halloween? Tap House Grill is hosting a Video Gaming Costume Party on October 26th, where the first 50 adults 21+ in costume will receive a $10 gaming voucher! Plus, indulge in fantastic food and drink specials, and participate in the costume contest, where they will be giving away over $250 in prizes!


Zombie Prom: Island of the Dead Halloween Party at Riverlands Brewing (October 26th | 6pm-11pm)

Following their Lil' Ghosts Halloween Party, Riverlands Brewing is hosting a 21+ Halloween Party that you'll be dying to attend! Attend their Zombie Prom: Island of the Dead Halloween Party, and enjoy live music by 13 Days and food from Wafadilla! Plus, they will have a costume contest at 9pm with prizes for: Zombie Prom King & Queen, Best Couple Costume, and Best Island Shirt/Costume. Did we forget to mention that there will be a secret haunted tiki bar hidden at the brewery, debuting their newest cocktail themed hard seltzer: Tiki Time: Zombie!

The Saturday before Halloween, you get to choose whether or not to be good or bad at R House's Heroes & Villains Halloween Party! Starting at 8pm, you can experience a night of fun by enjoying their fall-themed drink menu, all while you celebrate the season with some villainous tunes. Beetlejuice Dinner at The Graceful Ordinary (October 28th | 5pm)

On October 28th, The Graceful Ordinary is transforming the dining room into the Netherworld for their Beetlejuice Dinner! Partial proceeds from this 4-course dinner with wine pairings will go towards Lazarus House - so not only will you have a scary great time, but it's for a great cause too. Want to see some of the spookiest homes throughout St. Charles? The St. Charles Park District's Gallery of Ghoulish Homes Tour allows you to do just that! Simply visit their website to access their Free Tour Guide, and you can do this to venture to each home on this self-guided tour. The tour runs through Halloween, and it is recommended to view the homes between dusk until 10pm. Remember to view the displays from either your vehicle or the sidewalk!
